I don't think it covers E-bay, since Ebay data base does not consist of "fixed catalogs" as anticipated by the patent, but a variable menu of products. To the extent that E-bay sells normal catalogs item on their site (and not through an auction), maybe. OSTK system also does not provide complete access to "third party" catalogs, but to specific items they have managed to "source" for themselves. This patent really addresses purchasing by a first party from a third party through a second party hosting all the "catalogs", and is really limited, IMTO, to what we used to call BTB applications.
For PLUS to continue its march, we must close and hold above $16. It would be interesting what the earnings are going to be, earning wise, PLUS has been relatively stagnant, it would be nice if they could "surprise". Why do you think a settlement is "imminent"?.
By the way, what is the relationship between e-Plus, Procurenet and Fischer Scientific?
