<I feel bad for MNTA longs. The story thus far has been a train wreck. 4-5 years of waiting for this? Makes the GTCB saga look like a smashing success story. >
You must be completely clueless if you think what MNTA has going for them and what has transpired this past month or over the past 4 years is anything remotely close to the disaster that is/was GTCB.
<I like the company long term but as many have said, what has happened thus far is no accident, and cannot be attributed to "biotech investing weirdness". I am not sure what is occurring, but I know it's better to get out of the way than it is to try and fight it. >
I am not sure what you mean by not fighting the recent decline in MNTA. Do you mean repeatedly buying after small declines, buying at anytime or simply being so afraid that one should sell simply because others are selling? It seems as if you are advocating the latter. I will buy more MNTA but don't feel in a rush.
It am not sure what you mean by accident. Surely you aren't advocating that the market must be functioning intelligently and efficiently when a stock drops quickly. One can surmise some likely causes, such as the analyst who essentially said TEVA's generic will get approved soon. This has been repeated as if it were fact, not a speculation. People are sheep and when scared are easily panicked to follow the crowd. If you don't think there is general uncertainty and fear about the market and the economy, you haven;'t been paying much attention. It isn't biotech weirdness when unwarranted swings are common. Since you mock dew's comment about the lack of inspection of TEVA's facilities, you must have some specific and contradictory knowledge on the topic. Why don't you tell us how much in advance such inspections do occur?
Dew, Sorry about citing the story that was derived from the idiots at biomedreports. I had no idea that is where it came from or wouldn't have mentioned it.
