umaw - she was asked by the Debtors (WMI) _NOT_ to rule, because a GSA was (and did) get signed which resolved the $4b.

Since the Debtors brought the $4b motion, it is also the Debtors that can ask her to not rule.

She tipped her hand a few (maybe more) hearings ago when she was ready to rule on the Summary Judgement. I really don't know why she hasn't to date

Sucks. But all the hatred against the judge for not ruling on the $4b is misplaced.

The Debtors get to say "rule" or "not rule" and they chose the latter.

Get upset with Weil/Rosen.

Or, wait for the EC or someone else to file their OWN motion for the $4b... which hasn't happened yet. And with the EC, there must be strategy there that I don't understand.
