redwards, I'm hopeful too on MRAM, but I read the skeptics carefully - the technical stuff is too far over my head to be too sure of myself.

redwards, you cannot talk about subatomic and MRAM in the same sentence. Magnetism is a "cooperative" process, it needs much more than one atom to be exhibited. Magnetic domains have to be at least 50 to 100 nanometer in dimensions to contain enough spins to create the "cooperative" behavior.
