hi redwards, if you spend enough time on the Yahoo NVEC board, you'll find NVEC prior art for patents by everybody: HPQ, FSL, CY, you name it. But whether NVEC has strong enough IP is probably not the real question. The important question, imho, is whether anybody can get MRAM off the ground fast enough to displace the existing oligarchy of RAM. That's why I took heart in the recent CY sampling announcement, but it's also why Zeev didn't - he thinks the physics is just too tough, and he is a physicist <g>
