Clearly they think they can make some money. But, this does mean that it's necessarily good for the current shareholders. And, with a small group of insiders holding voting control you can be pretty well assured you will get screwed.
2)What is needed for the SEC/IRS issues to go away (short-term objective)
That's simple. When they complete the prosecution they will "go away".
3) What is required for Sanswire to grow into a viable operation, thus making it an attractive target for merger/acquision (long-term objective)
Another simple one... All it will take is an act of God... And with me being an atheist you can guess my estimate of that outcome.
