That is very interesting..something I didn't know..do you really think that the Chinese will wait because of this? I totally agree with you that there will definitely not be a merger before then..it will most likely be between Aug 25th - Sept 5th. I would imagine we would get this merger done before Labor day weekend

According to Chinese Lunar Calendar....

8/25 (Wednesday)
8/28 (Saturday)
9/2 (Thursday)
9/5 (Sunday)
9/10 (Friday)
9/13 (Monday)
9/15 (Wednesday)

Those are good days for "Business Transaction", "Deal" "Contract", etc.

But, I doubt that the merger will be completed by August because like other have said, 2 businesses + 2 countries and 2 different accounting / regulation systems. This does take some times. In addition, they have to file official documents to SEC/OTC Market. We really can't expect this merger deal to be done so soon.

I did a little research on the Tactician Investment Group (the actual owner of Tactician University). This company invests in all kinds of business, such as investment banking, asset management, financial, Energy, IT and logistics. The Hydro Electric company might be one of their subsidiary or they have invested. I believe this is a done deal already.

I first own VCTY in February and has being in and out few times. I added another 150K last week of July and thinking about to add more in next few days. I come to this board everyday but don't have habit to say anything.

For the Chinese Lunar Calendar stuff, just take it as a reference. July in Chinese lunar calendar is a ghost month (8/10~9/7/2010). Old Chinese tried to avoid Marriage, Traveling, Buying a house or Moving during this month. They offer tributes and respect to their deceased, the special day to do this is on July 15 (8/24/2010). But, this is not 100% for everyone or any business in China. Short story to entertain everyone here.

Everyone be patience on this done deal.

(I am happened to be a Chinese-American, so you guys can believe the date I listed above.) GLTA :)

Thanks for the info I found some more info confirming their
Ceremonies & Taboos for Chinese Ghost Festival!
Here's some do's and dont's for the uninitiated participant...

Things You Should Do:

~ Make an altar at a crossroad - for easy access and departure for spirits from 4 directions.
~ Make offerings - food, drinks and favoured articles of the deceased.
~ Burn "Hell Money" - so it becomes available to ancestors in the kingdom below.
~ Release paper boats and lanterns in rivers and lakes - it gives directions to spirits.
~ Talk to your ancestors - they can hear you on this day.

Things You Shouldn't Do:

~ Go swimming - it leaves you vulnerable to ghostly interception.
~ Go outside after sunset - the troubled spirits are everywhere at this time of year.
~ Move house at this time - it vexes the spirits who can no longer find their ancestral home.
~ Open a business - it's just plain bad luck and bad sense.
~ Hold a wedding ceremony - again, it's bad luck and bad sense.
~ Get born on this day - your parents should change your birthdate if you do.
~ Die on this day - you'll be whisked away to hell and damnation with all the other spirits.
