So this Administration isn't concerned that IP that is totally American owned, can be siphoned away to non-American countries?

They must feel that the benefit the current IP ownership brings isn't worth preserving, for fear of higher prices of x86 processors impacting the American economy.

That is the nicest explanation I can reach, but it isn't hard to reach an explanation far less kind to the current Administration.


I think Intel management should start viewing this as an inevitability, if the GloFo spinoff didn't make it clear already.
