Usually MM's will short the stock when they are handling dilution. The dilution will normally drive the price down, and the MM's can jump on that bandwagon and keep it going by adding to the selling pressure. It's easy profits for them.
I'm with you here. People are always screaming MM manipulation, when it fact it serves them almost no benefit to spend their time trying to manipulate the price on a triple zero stock. Penny stock conspiracy theories always make me laugh.
