Thanks SMaturin - I see where you got this from. However, why would anyone pay $100,000.00 to move a POS system versus spending
10-20K to buy one and throw the other one away unless this was a large chain/store customer doing something throughout an entire store and moving to a newer location - possible. Side by side cost of ownership will say it all and resolve all of these discussions (for the better I hope) - I believe LCRE has to do this anyways in order to sell this solution.

This is a clarification of the $100k POS investment I wrote about earlier. A regional franchiser was moving into this local market and targeted 7 locations for their expansion. The POS budget was calculated as follows; each location required 4 POS stations at $6500 per store for hardware and $3500 for the electrical and low voltage wiring modifications. There was also the need for a server and an initial set up fee calculated at $30,000. The monthly maintenance fee and transactions fee for the first year were not included in the budget calculation.

7 stores @ $6500 = $45500
7 low voltage package @ $3500 = $24500
1 server and setup fee@ $30000
Total Budget $100000

My understanding of the Lecere package for all 7 outlets

$2000 start up fee and the cost of about 20 I pads. You do the math.
