i agree with you, especially about the potential of the product and the value of the patent that WE shareholders own, but from what Gib has told me, he and the committee are refusing to abandon the current ECT shareholders (which includes members of the team itself, remember), which means that any new investors are being told that they will not be permitted to walk in and totally run the show, going forward...
that appears to have been a hindrance, not the $2M, and my own research supports this -- but i've been encouraged that the ECT team has been trying to keep their promise and to protect our interests, even if it has meant that some new investors have apparently balked....
but there are other groups of investors looking at this proposal right now -- Gib and his team have been "shopping," but are not going to settle until the deal is right, and as far as i'm concerned, they have my full support to that end....
