The contempt and disgust you focus on Matt prevents a focus by you on the real problem, and while you know of the real problem, a "Call to Arms" against Matt is better used as ammo towards the crony capitalism and corrupted manner for the rules and laws that propagated Matt's actions.
The level of penalisation handed to Matt by the judge to feed your feeling of righteous anger, be it none or small or big, is only localized internal for the follyness of personal revenge that will become a self inflected wound if none or small, and if big will cause one to feel redemption onto an empty place.
Imagine Matt's soul prior to getting caught, that being on a road where important is measured in the inconsequential things money buys.
Perhaps today, thru the force of the courts, Matt's soul was taken off that road and given a chance to travel another road.
My opinion is that Matt feels good about himself on the new road he has chosen to travel, and while the court may place Matt on a physical road that may include hard time and for sure restitution, the court's road is seperate from the importance of the road one travels as the person one wants to be.
