The Hawthorne thing bothers me a lot. All I really heard was "we're going to try again". They'r supposed to be the best.

My father was in the advertinsing and radio/TV business all his life and, though I'm no expert, I learned a lot from him and these results just were not good at all. JMHO

Thank you very much for all of that. I agree the format of the ECRM is a great opportunity given we all know that you have to "see it to believe it" when it comes to WC.

Let's hope he can actually PR the Lowe's situation and use their name in the PR.

Udell thing...makes sense..it is very strong in confined spaces.

Good to get clarification about the ambassadors. I had no idea how all of that works.

I look forward to hearing it all myself. I gave up after 20 minutes and went outside. lol

I almost wish is was just those of us here on that call so that no new investor would base their impression of the company on that one call.

Thanks for the info Ibdave. I was afraid that the Lowes deal was dead in the water, since it's been so so long since we first heard about it. But, he wouldn't be discussing it if that was the case.

Very nice recap, lbdave. I really appreciate you taking the time to comment on things other than the gibberish going on in the background.

Will this big mess hurt the PPS? Probably IMO. Should it? No way.

Unfortunately, some people tend to overreact (big surprise), and they will sell because of this. It's actually funny when you think about it.

"Hey, I heard you sold your WNBD shares. Why did you sell? Poor sales, bad management, something smells fishy with the company?"

"No. I actually sold because their website crashed during the CC and some guy was speaking Spanish in the background." LOL

Even if the stock dips, I believe it will be temporary and short lived.

Dave, this is one of the few posts worth reading on this board tonight. Thx

Thank you Eric, Lorne and Fantus for working through this and doing the best you can under the circumstances. Events can occasionally take an unpredictable turn like this (the other CCs were fine), but not everyone has the patience/calm to push though it. This says a lot about your character/leadership... Sorry for those that judge the CC by the format and childish noises, instead of the CONTENT you provided.

If more had a clue on what you guys were actually trying to accomplish and how difficult it can be, they might give a little more respect... but this is just asking too much down here in pennyland. You know this by now... This board has become more about playing tactical mind games with each other, rather than serious discussion. Hopefully the listing upgrades will attract some new intelligence to pick up the load for us burnt out (but still bullish) longs.

Not even sure why i read this board tonight, i could have predicted it would be full of worthless/twisted info... but im glad i listened to the CC myself instead of just reading what was posted here... To be honest it was trying at times to stay focused on the content (with all the distraction), but i garnered some nice pieces of info.

Nice post there Dave a PM for your good efforts:

I didn't listen to call. You mention
"He address the Lowes issue, and stated they have a calander schedule of dates when locations would begin to place product on the shelves, and that number of stores is greater than they originally anticipated.

My question is Did he explicitly say lowes is the NA with the dates and locations or was it just refered to as an NA. If so, then it is a conformation that Lowes is the August anticipated NA. HMMMMMMM

CC Recap by Ibdave

Posted by: lbdave Date: Wednesday, July 21, 2010 7:26:53 PM

Although the CC was aggravating due to some rude people, there was a great amount of information shared.

Fantus and Lorne addressed the importance of the upcomming ECRM meetings. He stated many times when dealing with large national chains it could take many cold calls to ever get a face to face meeting with the buyers of this type of company if ever at all from a not very well known company. This seems to be a tremendous opportunity to get right to the decision makers without having to jump through hoops.

He address the Lowes issue, and stated they have a calander schedule of dates when locations would begin to place product on the shelves, and that number of stores is greater than they originally anticipated.

He addressed the delays with the Udell thing, and it has to do with an enviornmental issue rather than an operational issue. The small bottle caps are designed to allow the bottles to vent, and storing them in the delivery vans is creating a strong odor ovber time. They are working on a way to solve this problem.

He stated that Hawthorne is still working on an approach that will create more interest from the viewing audience, and said they as well as Hawthorne is determined to drive it to success.

He discussed the upcomming dynamics of doing busisness in Europe, and how the European Union is quickly moving towards an eco friendly culture.

He discussed the way the Amnassador program is structured, and the company is not paying any salary for them. They will eventually recieve compensation based on the sales in their region.

He and Lorne discussed the problems companies face trying to get the opportunity to schedule face to face meeting with many decision makers, and the way they approach these difficult issues.

He and Lorne was also discussing the Orgil situation, and although it seemed some headway has been made I recieved a phone call at that time, and wasn't able to hear all that was said lol.
