Although the CC was aggravating due to some rude people, there was a great amount of information shared.
Fantus and Lorne addressed the importance of the upcomming ECRM meetings. He stated many times when dealing with large national chains it could take many cold calls to ever get a face to face meeting with the buyers of this type of company if ever at all from a not very well known company. This seems to be a tremendous opportunity to get right to the decision makers without having to jump through hoops.
He address the Lowes issue, and stated they have a calander schedule of dates when locations would begin to place product on the shelves, and that number of stores is greater than they originally anticipated.
He addressed the delays with the Udell thing, and it has to do with an enviornmental issue rather than an operational issue. The small bottle caps are designed to allow the bottles to vent, and storing them in the delivery vans is creating a strong odor ovber time. They are working on a way to solve this problem.
He stated that Hawthorne is still working on an approach that will create more interest from the viewing audience, and said they as well as Hawthorne is determined to drive it to success.
He discussed the upcomming dynamics of doing busisness in Europe, and how the European Union is quickly moving towards an eco friendly culture.
He discussed the way the Amnassador program is structured, and the company is not paying any salary for them. They will eventually recieve compensation based on the sales in their region.
He and Lorne discussed the problems companies face trying to get the opportunity to schedule face to face meeting with many decision makers, and the way they approach these difficult issues.
He and Lorne was also discussing the Orgil situation, and although it seemed some headway has been made I recieved a phone call at that time, and wasn't able to hear all that was said lol.
