IMHO opinion after the final hearing I expect it takes the Arb Tribunal at most two weeks to draft award for the ICC Secretariat to sign off and foward copies to the Companies and the Courts soon after. However, I am willing to bet the two companys' in question know which way the scales tilt before final draft.
Arm, I bet the parties have a pretty good idea as to the award determination date and the time frame in which to expect the award letter signed by the ICA.
The parties I believe can talk settlement or settle prior to the award determination letter. If not settled before the award letter arrives, each party then knows exactly what the decision is. And based on that knowledge you can then stand pat or scream.
IMO Logic would dictate that there can be no settlement between Nokia & IDCC. Nokia has fought so dirty & so bitterly & for so long that there would seem to be no reason for them to quit now. They have nothing to lose except a little embarrasment. UNLESS IDCC is willing to capitulate &/or compromise the Arbs will have the final say.Hope our day in the sun has finally arrived.
