In all reality Intels "sales" or top line number is not impressive at all. Intel was doing over $8.0 Billion (2nd q) back in 2004 so their top line growth has been in the area of 5% over a 5 year period.

2010=$10.8b
2009=$8.0b
2008=$9.6b
2007=$8.7b
2006=$8.0b
2005=$9.2b
2004=$8.1b

What is remarkable is the recovery from 2009 (was 2010 just pent up demand) and of course their profits. The profits are fantastic.

OT - Intels results are even more impressive considering AMD had a good quarter as well. I don't see a double dip when corporations are spending on servers.
