You are correct. Records reflect Patrick Downs died February 10, 2010.


The Court will not enter an Order to terminate the probation until acceptable documentation of death is provided. Until then, his case is reflected in an active-suspense status. Budget restraints has limited our ability to obtain a death certificate, however the Department of Corrections continues to seek other acceptable documentation for the court.

His death was reported, though not in detail. But I think it's pretty weird that the probation office says they can't afford to purchase a death certificate. They're not exactly expensive.
