No offense, but I ahve a hard time imagining that this whole thing is going to go down the tubes for the sake of $1.8M. I know he's tight without shares to issue here, but there just has to be a way to pull that amount off given what's at stake.

Sell one of the helicopters after the demo and buy it back later?

He will have to, or go to a buddy or his bank. They can't raise the A/S and I don't think they will. Raise that cash get the funding going and get ready to start closing acqs. The A/S stays the same then yesterday was an even better day for the longs.
