I know hap. Sadly, you're still living in those days and don't realize how life, society and people have changed.
I hitchhiked all around Europe for six months after I graduated from college but I don't recommend it to my kids now. Things are different but unfortunately you don't seem to realize it.
You think a family that has kids, a house, a life and a particular lifestyle they've developed over the years should simply pick up and pick potatoes in MT and I think you've smoked too many Lucky Strikes.
