Naked shorting should be illegal across the board.... just like Germany recently implimented.
Normal shorting, ok PROVIDED you are gambling that the company you are shorting is going to have some problem/occurance that causes the stock price to go down naturally. I am NOT ok with the shorters pummeling the bid to drive the PPS down artificially.
MM's are no longer needed in most pink stocks IMO. They were introduced in order to provide a warehouse type supply for low trading stocks. Ok fine... low trading. HOWEVER, some of these Pinks/OTCs trade hundreds of millions of shares a day. Do we still need an MM for these stocks? IMO.. no we do not.
The pinks/otc markets need a major overhaul before the MM's ruin them entirely. The games this year are the absolute worst that I've seen which makes me think that some changes are coming and these guys are making as much money as they can now.
