My guess is they will dig them up for removal. The hard part / finding them is what costs so much, and on top of that its time consuming to boot. Removal is not the issue, its locating the mines in a vast area that's the issue.

you mean who wants to be the first one to find out the "error probability ratio"? There will still be no substitute for probing.

The time factor will not magically be reduced to seconds from days in finding/unearthing mines....

Technology will help, but will not take the place of the physical verification of every sq. ft.

From what I have heard, Mineseeker will have nothing to do with mine removal, just the locating of them. Contractors will be hired to use the mapping for removal.
