Oh man respectfully disagree with that myopic outlook
Innovation spurns better technology every day. If a man's foot will set off an IED what is to stop a bullet, laser or other projectile. What about the many vehicles designed specifically to unearth mines. Once the bomb is pinpointed digitally any number of methods can replace the human probe.
It's only a matter of time before these poor soles no longer need ever enter a minefield for on foot detection purposes. Depending how long you hold here I predict you will see MineSeeker arrive at a better extraction method IMHO. That is the ultimate goal to prevent innocent victims and unnecessary suffering. I believe Dean's MineSeeker Operations will only hasten that eventuality. CONSIDERABLY! :-)
