Some initial thoughts off the top of my head...
Firstly I think this is just Announcement No. 1 and there will be more to follow soon. In fact we know there'll be more to follow because they'll have to announce the record date for the dividend.
Secondly, I think the reason why the PPS has dropped a little is exactly what others have already said - day traders and other flippers want a quick buck. They don't really care about holding BVIG shares for 12 months. Fair enough. There's the door...
Thirdly, we now know it will be another week or two before we hear back re the gold drilling results, because we know that they're about to start... BUT... we also know that the preliminaries are in (trenching, samples, etc) and they must have been good for all this activity to be occuring.
Fourthly, for those who wanted the entire company to move to OTC/BB, well jack says that is on its way, and interestingly it looks like KATX will become a subsidiary of KGHC (or ahetever ticker BVIG ends up with). Interesting role reversal. We all need to think about that.
Fifthly, as I and others have said all along, whilst the gold properties are important, the copper properties are equally important. They are staying in KATX for now and they are [i]"aggressively preparing to take its copper exploration and drilling programs to the next major stages of development to be announced soon". Now that announcement could come at any time and could be very exciting indeed.
Now I need to digest all this a little more
