Weby,

I'm hoping that we can get some clarification over the next two weeks through a clear picture of why there are so many TPMs still being unused years after they have been installed.

I bought an Acer, last year, and try as I might, I cannot turn the TPM on. I have followed the instructions and where it advises you to press 'F2', etc, etc, while it works on Dell, the button does nothing on Acer. I have bombarded Wave with questions and they could not help - in fact last time, the contact wondered whether I had a TPM - the very reason I bought it.

I phoned Acer to ask about it and they did not know what I was talking about.

Is this the reason that there are so few TPMs turned on?

No one can work out how to do it - or it takes so long trying to figure it out, its not worth the bother.

Or is Wave waiting for someone to use it first (Govt?) and then we can all use it?

Sorry, I don't agree with you or Go-Kite. A bundling agreement will lead to more upgrades. That's the whole reason for a bundling agreement.

Weby,

"It's past time that the Brooklyn chant of "Next Year" becomes THIS YEAR AND/OR our leader presents a clear projection of his fiscal objectives for the next three years."

To my recollection SKS has never made a clear projection of his fiscal objectives for any three year period. Do you actually believe he would start now? I highly doubt it but what do I know. I guess there is a first time for everything.

GLTA!
