I had a Firefox window open on the MOPN web site for the past few days, refreshing every minute. I figured that would be the first place where the news would show up! Sure enough!!
I hope a lot of longs here got the chance to add to their positions -- I was only able to get filled for 5000 more.
I also have some information to share with you. One of my old work contacts now resides in Plaquemines Parish. He replied to my e-mail and told me that we are (once again) being lied to by our government and mainstream media.
He told me that the acreage numbers deemed impacted in his area that have been mentioned/thrown around are off by a factor of 50 to 100!
He's talked to volunteers and persons employed by the parish, and all the islands and bays in the area - Wilkinson, Ranquille, Red Fish, South Pass, etc. - have been impacted. We're talking thousands of acres in Plaquemines Parish alone, not just the handful that we have been led to believe.
MOPN may have to open another factory, and run three shifts, seven days a week.
