Not to make excuses for them but if the short position is true, the buyback would not have an effect on share price no matter how many shares are bought-----Way to much manipulation here and if the company is assisting the MM's , well, that is another matter

What's your point? They could still be doing just that. They can't just buy everything that is being sold.
