I also wouldn't underestimate the stimulative effect of employing 411,000 temporary jobs via census work, and it would be a great relief for the nearly half million people who had been out of work.
Since these numbers fluctuate, it's going to come with up and down months. Last month was a very good month for the private sector, and this month has some good news, while others are disappointed that it wasn't high enough.

20K would have been an outstanding month during most of the 8 years of Bush. He started 2 wars, wasting $Billions and taking nearly a million young people out of the work force, and cut taxes and still couldn't get to plus figures in net job creation most months... that sort of blows your Republican trickle down economic theory all to hell doesn't it?
