I claim a nation should employ as few social programs as possible

So, perhaps we're not that far apart after all. We were talking mainly about regulations and gov involvement. Let me repeat the 4 tenants:

1) consumer protection against intentional fraud (which included products as well as scams)

2) the separation or prohibition of corporate funding and contributions to politicians/political parties/government officials

3) public safety

4) anti-trust

Re Social Programs: I prolly favor more social programs than you do, but I'd be willing to see how things turn out IF #2 was enacted. That is the burr that makes for an uneven playing field.

Just to capsulize.......Are we agreed?
