I forgot that I had posted here some time ago. I see that you think Cliffs might be in over their heads. Maybe but........there is a lot going on here and I think they have made a very smart move. It's annoying a lot of retail investors to be bought out so cheaply but that is how the game goes whether we like it or not. The Ring of Fire is slowly becoming one of the richest mining areas in Canada rivaling even the Sudbury nickle area.
It is true that it is way up north in swmap and muskeg but it will be mined. There are native communities who have for many years hounded both provincial and federal governments for roads. Over the years some all weather roads run north close to communities. Winter roads access them in that season and as many supplies as can go in. Governments have looked for a good reason to build them roads, and now they have one with these promising mines. Just as important are the job opportunities for these people. Cliffs will find governments more than willing to help make this are a developed one.
I think Cliffs has trumped everyone by being there first and I would not be surprised to see them take out Noront as well. These markets couldn't be better for them to make this move. They may need a partner but if they are in control, they can choose who that partner might be.
