You weren't there. You are also completely ignoring what I have told you twice was the primary reason for the bombing in the first place.
That was to prevent 6 divisions of reinforcements from meeting up with the retreating Germans on the Eastern Front by bombing Dresden and its rail yards and factories into oblivion.
While, three generations later, hindsight says the war would have eventually ended anyway. Why would you expect the Allies, then, to stop fighting and wait for the end without doing everything they could to end it as fast as possible? Remember, in the meantime, thousands of innocent Jews were being gassed every day.
But then I guess facts don't matter to a good argument.
