I wish that I had already bought the straw, as the Boston had some heavy rain for the last day and it will continue into tomorrow. It would have given me a chance to "prime" the straw for growing.
Straw bale gardening will be another experiment toward my ultimate Peak Oil garden.
As for Peak Oil, I think we have five more years to prime our properties for good growing areas.
Two of my neighbors will be cutting back or clearing trees for this same purpose.
