BP says progress in effort to contain oil spill

GALLIANO, La., May 17 (Reuters) - Energy giant BP was making some progress on Monday with its efforts to contain the oil gushing forth from a ruptured well in the Gulf of Mexico,

But the stakes are high amid fears of an ecological and economic calamity along the U.S. Gulf Coast. Investors have already knocked around $30 billion off BP's (BP.L) value and its share price will be closely watched this week.

After several tough weeks, this is shaping up to be another rough one for the company. A U.S Labor Department official told the Financial Times that BP has a "systematic safety problem" at its refineries.

The corporate controlled "news" outlets are lying about the size of this oil geyser/volcano (not a spill) and nobody can estimate the impact which will be devastating . Time will reveal how big the corporate lies are .
I do not own this stock but have watched it closely , there are many opportunities to make money here , unless BP rejects their products , which is always an unknown.

Good luck to everyone playing this it has huge dollar volume and can go to .50 and beyond with a contract , in fact if BP uses their product , you can bet as time goes on they will buy much more as the truth bubbles to the surface.

Lets hope this stuff works and is safe , the Exxon Valdez spill has a dirty secret , the workers were exposed to toxic chemicals used to clean up the mess , 7 out of 8 workers are dissabled and the oil companies along with our corrupt government kept it all out of the public eye.
If you google this lots of credible facts and documents come up , very sad , but the oil/government relationship was forged with Rockefeller profits always trump public safety . 9/11 they lied about the air quality and many more will die from the EPA lies to get the taxpaying sheep back to work!!
