Weather Forecast
Thursday May 6th 6:30am
Another day of showers and cool temperatures. Today the high temperature in the Rose City Reach 53 degrees. That's only one degree from tying the record low / high for the date. Showers will gradually taper off after sunset. Breaks in the cloud cover will allow temperatures to fall dramatically. Lows will drop into the low to middle 30s. Because of the cold temperatures, a frost advisory has been issued for Portand and the Willamette Valley. Normally we see our last freezing temperature around the lend of March. But as the past few days have shown this is not a normal year.
Today will be a better day. Drier air and warmer temperatures will begin to arrive. Highs should reach the low 60s and be near 70 by the end of the work week. Long range models are suggesting the weekend will stay dry and mild too. Keep your fingers crossed!
Tonights low 37
Thursdays high 62
Regards
Dave
