I couldn't get past the idea mgmt really committed fraud or even had a reason to. I thought mgmt was just ignorant about how to manage a rapidly expanding co and accordingly fouled up the books. These men are from very wealthy families...rich beyond what I would ever imagine to be...Why commit fraud? They have good product, a plan, and lots of advertising that is generating sells. For me, what did I learn??? If it looks like a fish and smells like a fish...simply believe it is a fish! :-) Moving on...there is money to be made elsewhere!

Hey OT. That is a good post. It sums up a lot of what I feel. I had to come over and see what happened today. I said my peace back in Sep. and tried to warn everyone as a former SPNGite who couldn't see past everything until the RS news hit. I still had SPNG on my screener and just watched it every now and then (wondering how the hell it was still trading at .03 - .04) It is nice to see some of the older faces like you and Phrantic, I hope (and think) most of us got out back in Sept and didn't get stung too badly. If anyone didn't, I do feel bad for them. Granted anyone who was still holding this long since hitting the greys, they had time and time again to get out. I know what you mean though, about some who can't pull that trigger. Some still were in the grasp of that SPNG fog I guess. I wanted to sell in June and then in August and didn't. I knew that the 10K coming out wasn't good on 8/31 of last year, but I was still new enough to everything and didn't listen to my gut. I did come out ahead, but the amount I was up on paper still gnaws at me to this day. I even had a horrible 2 or 3 months after that in the market, trying to recover what I "lost" on paper. That part is my fault and I can't blame SPNG for it, but they really messed with a lot of people's mental health and psyche I am sure. They did mine. The thing is I still made money from my initial investment, and even after losing a pretty decent amount on other stocks after I sold SPNG. I know many are not as fortunate. I really hope there weren't people who put most of their savings into this, and held on through the winter.

What comes out of it, is what you said, that this is only money. There are much bigger things and issues in life to deal with, that are more important. M&M do deserve jail time (and some others...I sure hope Furth and some of the "inside" posters that frequented this board get the same as M&M do), what they did was bilk a lot of $$ out of many seasoned and not-so seasoned investors. The fact they did it when the market had many newbies such as myself at the time, makes it that much more appalling to me. The fact they also still continued to put up this charade even until the past few weeks...shows the utter narcissim they have. I appreciate the post though, reading through this board today, actually brought some of that nagging feeling back to me. Putting everything into perspective helps, and I know it could be much worse. I do hope everyone has learned a lot from this...whether it was last year, last month or today, and can use that positively in the future.

Glad to hear that sir. I do hope these guys go to prison for what they've done to so many. I did try to warn others, but no one wanted to listen. I quit posting because I tired of being called a basher. Is Doug Furth involved? I'd be surprised if his hands are clean. I wish you the best OT.
