#6318 RE: DewDiligence #6315

Dew and Katie,

I think if you check out the posts by the more science-knowledgeable posters on the COR board and from Dr. Garren, you'll see that Lilly's failures are a positive for COR. The type of Ampakines and the issue of cell site receptors has been adquately covered on the COR board. I don't feel like debating this issue with you here; enough has been said already.

Yes, Tollefson is a positive, although Dew will probably find reasons why his addition to the BOD is not, I'd say the probability of his being a positive influence is 98.6% (lol). But don't forget Mansbach. He's a young man with a bright future and already has significant BP expereince, and the fact that he threw his lot in with COR should also be viewed as a positive.

Look, good opportunities in micro-cap biotech don't come along that often. Vince Simmon might have been a nice guy, but he was a lousy biotech CEO. Stoll has resurrected the company, pure and simple. Ane yes, he is not without his faults. Whether the resurrection fully succeeds is another question, but there is no doubt that the company has improved greatly, along with the share price, under his stewardship. COR is really a turnaround story. It is a place where you can make some serious money, but, of course, the risk is great as well. If you believe in the story, then you wouldn't be selling here.

For a couple of folks who put their money in things like PPHM and GTCB, you sure are awful critical of COR. (LOL) Anyway, I count this as the first trading day of the new year. COR is up over 7% in 2005. How does that compare to your stocks? (lol)

And Katie, I thought you liked primate studies.

By the way, Dew, add my name to the list that believes COR will have the most appreciation in 2005. (ARQL and GENR are my second and third choices.) But you have to start tabulating today; I want a headstart. (lol)

Dew, what do you think of the possibility, mentioned on the COR board, that PFE's deal with Organon "secretly" included the Ampakines? I ascribe about 1% probability to that theory, but would it significantly change your opinion on COR, if it were the case, knowing what a PfizerPhile you are?

Thanks for this board, Dew, and have a healthy and prosperous year in 2005.
