The industry may call it Greek, meaning...it's Greek to me as in I haven't a clue what it says.
I believe Matt is correct in stating it is actually Latin. I believe Latin is commonly used in templates while holding a site.
Perhaps, many in the industry don't understand foreign languages and really assume it is actual Greek? lol The last time I saw Latin used was in a Catholic service. It just isn't used much anymore and suits this template purpose perfectly.

I thought their was a law passed saying if you own a domain and someone else wants it, you have to prove you're using it with current info or they can take it. I'll look further into it and see what I can find.
