Don't you think an upward movement past 2340 is most likely the case?
You are probably correct, but they will want to trap more people first.
500 seems modest, I'd say more like 700 to 1100 point drop.

FA, oh my God, that is NOT a H&S - the two shoulders need to be nearly identical in appearance/height (not the case here, not even by a mile), and the left shoulder can ONLY be built after a decent/prolonged rally (and certainly CANNOT be that huge [bear] market bottom in Oct/02-Mar/03), the neckline needs to be horizontal / nearly horizontal (not even close), and most important, either Shoulder CANNOT be higher than the Head (as you have it) - CANNOT; otherwise is NOT a H&S.

Read Edwards & Magee for christ's sake before you start spouting T/A nonsense.

regarding this chart,...additionally we've got a bearish megaphone pattern (BMP)forming starting arond the start of jan04 into the present.

this is a strong indicator of a imminent collapse. of course the "when" is the question.

downside target for me is 31 based on this BMP.
