Sorry I haven't been following the whole conversation about the diode/capacitor rectifier circuit or where the requirement for 3000V came from (I'll have to backtrack through the posts to find the start of all this) but I can only speak about your numbers below. The resistance should be 3.6, not 0.36 (i^2 = 900 not 9000).
