Easy there Lake, while I don't believe the shorters are shorting PYCT and have not for a long long time I do think there could of been a short position some time back. I don't buy theory that the shorters stopped shorting a .0001 stock because they found out about the patent...lol, the patent information was public before the company announced it.. you would have to believe the 'moles' had already known this.
Anyway it makes much more sense to believe that the company is issuing more shares to pay for 'services' - especially since they said that they would do that type of financing if they wanted to or needed to. Maybe they just stopped issuing extra shares at the same time they announced the patent - would be nice for those that got paid in shares to sell at .0001 when there was no bid before that. they need money for the next push, I hope they got enough and the next push will be a good PR that gets this stock moving.

The beauty of the Naked Short Conspiracies is that they dont require a shred of actual proof as any such proof is covered up by the shorts and other participants in the conspiracy. Sort of like Area 51 and its UFOs.

I wouldn't doubt there are some NS shares out there but the tale of a forced cover due to the divvy is just that IMO.

If there would be a need for a broker to cover any NS they would simply do so while the stock was at the bottom- like any other short would cover.
