I don't believe our need for Science and Math skills, which I agree with, has anything to do with believing or disbelieving what a politician (any politician) says or does. Our economic system is obviously a blend of public and private enterprise and there are plenty of blowhards that want the system to lean more one way or the other, but that hardly addresses or alters the fact that we accumulate debt and apparently the 20-30 year old's whom we hang our economic future on are less thrifty and more indebted then Boomer's or Xer's.
That doesn't bode particularly well for changing direction, or for stopping the debt driven economy from being driven into the ground.
