Magilla, We may be on to something very worth while.

When you toss Spreadtrum into the mix, I think we may have the Bull by the Horns.

This could be the conduit that IDCC needs to reap rewards out of China without finding it necessary to join the "Party".

Maybe a High Techer will read this and say "Right On" without throwing water on our fire.

magilla - couple of points

the current Spreadtrum TD-SCDMA chips were not the subject of the agreement with IDCC. The royalty bearing products are WCDMA....maybe they'll get to multi-mode (TD-SCDMA+WCDMA) eventually?

Samsung may use Spreadtrum for some lower end TD-SCDMA products, but ST/E, through their subsidiary T3G are the choice for the higher end (and moving to lower end)

Oatmeal is less beneficial with plenty of butter, brown sugar and cinnamon and toasted pecans, but it is WAY more delicious!
