Hey Go4..........All I'm looking for(and cannot find on the net)is what the BOOK value was for Bear Sterns the day before the were taken into insolvency........BOOK,BOOK,BOOK.............That is what the bloody $7.62 was for WAMU when we were taken out by the FDIC.....
Another whole ball of wax is the market value of the company,meaning what somebody is willing to pay for the 300 billion in assets you are talking about...........
Google is trading at $562 X share but has a BOOK(BOOK,BOOK) value of 10 times less that....meaning that the market believes it's worth 10 X it's BOOK value.....
Somebody with half a brain PLEASE help me out here!!!!
