fugaf.....thanks for the reply.....and, for taking the time to put a lot of info together....

because there is a lot of info, I'll probably repond via a couple of posts rather than write one long novel....

right out of the gate....let me reiterate my position....

I believe there is a war going on....economic....and, to the extent there is a "war"....I want the "enemy" (in this case the socialist nations to suffer as much damage as we can inflict upon them....I want the socialist "European model" crushed)

I believe that throughout history...and, especially in more current (20th century) history, what we can loosely call the interconnected banking system of power brokers which exists within the industrialized world has caused much of the world's distress and have significantly impacted the global economy and profited by conflict and war.

Having said that, I want those systems "neutralized"...if it takes death and destruction, I don't care....because right now...the US is the target....our currency, economy, capitalist system, and individual liberty are all in danger now.....(which is not to suggest they weren't prior to 2009/2010....now, it is just more acute as many things are ocurring on a variety of fronts....it's like the left's full scale assault as they come in for the kill shot)

so, i must disagree with the statement in the article you posted by Bill Saporito:

to prevent the teetering insurance giant from going over the cliff and taking the rest of the global financial system with it.

personally, I don't believe AIG over the cliff destroys the world financial system....but, if you believe it...or, if, in fact, it is true....I have absolutely no problem with destroying the world banking system and economy....I welcome it.

Now, while the European financial markets are interfaced with ours, we, at the same time, are being bought up by the Chinese and other non-capitalists via their "lending" to us because we are getting the economic blood sucked out of us ....(we have the largest economy; yet, we're the borrowers....go figure!)

we should be lending to them....as we did to much of the industrialized world at the end of WWII.....

but, the progressives (American word for socialist/marxist/communist) do all they can to insure that we are diminished....that our capitalist economy is in crisis...

let me ask the question....where on this list are the foreign banks? List of TARP fund recipients

and, next question: why didn't congress/Obama/the Dems loudly tell the American public about the US tax dollars laundered to the foreign banks as much as they spoke about the evil guys on wall street and bailing them out...did they forget?
