Spring Rain, I was also surprised how many Actors on Queer as folk are straight.
I also get a kick, how fast they want the public to know that. LOL, That's pretty damn good acting from a straight guy with those intense sexual scenes.
I love the show, its mind numbing trash, but fun.
As far as Q is concerned my investment is different then most. Like you I continue to support this company, because for me, it's all about the idea of gay people having access to the media. It's about the possibilities of this Network changing preconceived ideas for many heterosexuals concerning the so-called gay life style.
If Q does become the breakout network some of us think it will, just imagine the impact this could have to enlighten folks with the facts about gays instead of the stereotypes.
Its true that we have made some progress, but I doubt if we have had any real change, for gays in the suburbs and remote places in the US.
Any gay person who has come out of the closet before gay was in, knows what that struggle was like.
In my day it wasn't till I walked into my first gay nightclub and saw hundreds of gay people and the realization that I was not alone. This will be the impact of Q on a much larger scale. So forgive me if I don't dwell on the ups and downs of the stock from day to day. I'm looking at the bigger picture. Besides there are plenty of Intellgent, contructive criticism from many of the people that post.
