My thoughts on this are pretty straight forward.
I have in my own mind & am confident that I know with about 90% accuracy the storyline and plot of the Ripley's Believe it or not events that got us here.
No one is wearing a white hat, but some hats are just Grey.
While this story is interesting, at this point is just speculative history and I am more interested in the future of the PPS share NOW that we are in the darkest hour of the mess.
Gurupup is far closer to the story that I am and I think his post is colored by the emotion of frustration/angst of trying to be a part of the solution.... In reality KD I believe wears the blackest of all the hats, and while people like to talk about lawyers and all, in the end solving the problem is far more important than having to bed up with a bunch of lawyers. Sort of like the bar talk of a guy getting divorced---as one lawyer friend says, It is all about the money in the end and not the principle.
I take the post as a positive sign. FOR ME, I still think Lee Cole is more likely to stay and be a part of the solution as he has the history of the company and has been the one who brought in the sales. For continuity sake alone he is needed in the transition.
G C Andersen will take their hit on us, hopefully providing value in the process, and I believe the money $12MM or so is there and that will fund with money left over the costs of this series of debacles.
I also believe based on hunches alone, that KD and LC are the two feuding parties over the company. And that KD was the likely party causing the auditors to pull the opinion. KD grandstanded and bit off more than he could chew and now does not know what to do other than to stand his ground until he gets a goodbye package.
Greed and Lawyers got us into this, it will take something other than Greed and Lawyers to get us out of this. I am counting on the Top Tier Stockholders to be the cure and for that reason alone I am glad Gurupup and others are applying the pressure.
AND JUSTHESOLFACTS, thanks for over the months in digging up and providing information on this. Good Friday to all, and I for one am glad the Market is closed today, hopefully even on low volume the SEC filing will have a postive impact on Monday on the PPS.
