Well said SG! We'll all have health insurance but not necessarily healthcare. As for 941s, I remember those well as quite the pain in the butt and checkbook. It's a damn shame that people work so hard to pay for government. If the government didn't lay the big chains on everyone that had a job we might be surprised at how healthy and competitive the economy might be and at how many people could work because companies weren't spending the first 250+ days of every year paying for bullshit from DC.

It's a scary thought how complacent society has become. I read a few minutes ago that 9 out of 10 congress-people don't have a clue about what cap and trade is.

Here's another good link that unfortunately will piss you off.

Exactly right, SG. I've got another business associate here that I do subcontract labor for on occasion. He said that he may very well be forced out of business by this health care plan.

That 941 payroll tax issue is the reason I never hired employees myself. I sub contract everything I need. If I had to pay quarterly payroll, I'd go broke.

It keeps me small but so far it's worked out. But it's a real shame that small businesses have to scrape by when they are the very backbone of this economy.

All I see with the healthcare plan is just what you pointed out...higher unemployment because the businesses won't be able to keep the employees they have.

I'm trying to figure out which country I want to take up residence in as this one falls apart...but unfortunately I don't know if any of them are much better off.
