Its a helluva mess git and gonna be a lot worse...for example...its my understanding that employers even as small as my operation will be forced to provide healthcare insurance for employees or pay a fine(hidden tax)...said employers can easily opt out and pay the fine(a lot cheaper way to go)...and why not?..one serious flaw with this "reform" in healthcare thing means that NO ONE needs to buy it!!..all you really have to do is wait til you need it!.the pre existing thing means that if you have a house that burns down..no big deal...the next day you simply go buy fire insurance ..its now your right to do so!..if you have just been diagnosed with terminal cancer then no problem for your family..you simply go to any agent and he cannot deny you healthcare insurance to cover this deadly disease!...PRE EXISTING CONDITIONS!!!We just THOUGHT insurance was too expensive before...how can costs not ecalate dramatically in light of what this will do to the insurance industry? Not talking here just in guesses and hearsay...I have a good friend that is a state insurance board man and what I stated is basically what he said is the corner that insurance companies are now being backed into by the pre existing condition clause.Sure ..the insurance company can say ...but your premium will be $2000 a month..and the applicant will say..no problem..I will pay it for a month or so because the surgery will cost you as the insurer $275,000 and you cannot deny me the insurance now!!
This president had no qualfications for the office ..but for God's sake..at least he should have been endowed with a brain!Actually I am only venting..he ..unfortunately DOES have a brain..and he knows EXACTLY what he is doing as well as the consequences of his agendas IMO..that is scary as hell!

I was having this same discussion in the post office yesterday, with a couple of folks around me that obviously benefited from the new legislation. A very fired up business owner noticed a political campaign shirt I was wearing yesterday and proceeding to launch. The meat of the conversation was that people are too busy watching reality shows and anything else meant to entertain instead of reading and keeping involved in what is really important....it's not even necessarily complacency, for many it is just plain ignorance of the issues. They go to the poll and vote for a party instead of reading the platforms and making an informed decision. And, that is only assuming the folks elected vote the way their constituents believe....that is the other thing that seems to have changed.
