Exactly ..pennies...that "wonderful" healthcare reform thing Oabama and his cronies rammed down the throats of intelligent americans is an atrocity to big business ..that is as far as doing business in this country...socialism has a pricetag that is obviously to be paid by the only ones that actually pay taxes!..and the beneficiaries of this mess are people that refuse to work or worse yet are those that are illegally in this country...these people are quite obviously like a virus that takes the lifeblood of its host then moves on to another thats still alive. What a mess!!...the millions upon millions that have always been a writeoff for these companies that provide healthcare to employees will not only rip their bottom line apart but force them to no longer provide good insurance packages to their employees..NOTHING in this life is a free ride. It hits home with me in a way because even tho my business is nothing compared to the big guys I pay about $2500 a qtr in 941 payroll taxes alone on only 4 full time employees...can you imagine the money thats saved by these companies by laying off THOUSANDS upon THOUSANDS of employees each? The healthcare "reform" bill gives them more than enough incentive to NEVER replace these laid off workers! I sincerely hope your wife never gets the axe but certainly would come as no surprise....this administration is hellbent to destroy the productive plants so that the WEEDs can flourish!
I was talking to my wife about your wifes company situation and what's even worse is that we are getting so smart we are running ourselves out of a job. My wife works at a Hospital and they went paperless (electronic) and now people are losing their jobs now over it. Who needs a worker when we can get a computer to do your job. Also I read an article about Rice University creating a small RFD chip that can go in a package so when you go grocery shopping you noo longer need a checker all you do is walk through and it rings up your entire basket so you just go pay. Sounds great but what about all of those cashiers who will lose their jobs. A lot of them are single parent moms or moms looking for extra income.
