#28636 RE: locksflooring #28635

UPDATE: Contractors are cheaper in terms of benefits and health care than a employee. Contractors get paid more in terms of salary. An employee of a company usually gets benefits and health care which accounts to a quarter of their salary (in the government its multiples of this).

So hiring a private consultant that charges say $60-per-hour is cheaper than hiring an employee with a salary costs say $60-per-hour with $80-per-hour in benefits/health care/dental, etc.

So the situation for Mrs. Schissler is very well suited for her and the company. It is cheaper to have her as a consultant than a manager. Although I don't know their cases exactly, I still think its good and cheaper for the company. Consider as well that she is well-respected in LA Business journal.

Everything must be reported. It is reported to the company not just to Matt. Mrs. Schissler is not a stay at home mom. She works and this shows she works. Since she's covered under Matt's plan that's why she's a consultant, I imagine. In any case, CBAI saves money that way. Can't you have a mom and pop run a mom and pop shop?
