So why isn't she an employee? Everyone knows contractors make more for the same services as an employee. (Yes, locks, you found an advantage away from the company to work as an independent, same point even if it's more than monetary)

Keep in mind, as I said in my first post, I'm fine with it, I just think it raises an eyebrow; seems there could be better ways to handle such a position and money's applied to said position. It doesn't mean it's a 'deal breaker'.

I appreciate everyone's input. I asked about 'sentiment' and I think I have the answer from the sample of those who chose to discuss it.
