if you think adding 16,000 new IRS agents to enforce this new bill, and adding 30 million (mostly subsidized by the gov't) to the roles is not socialism, I have some solid swamp land for sale real cheap! If they really wanted to just help the poor and uninsurable, they could have put all 10 to 12 million (yup, that is all there is in that category AT MOST) on a "cadillac" plan for MUCH MUCH less money, and left the rest of us alone because 83% of us are happy with our coverage and healthcare. I have some news for ya... this ain't about healthcare.... it is about changing society "out of one's abundance to another's need" with gov't as the arbitor of your rights.
It is an unsustainable system. If you think premiums were high before, be patient. and when they try to reign in costs, guess who will be rationing what ya get to treat your illness.... UNCLE. I can take a health insurance company to court. Try taking Uncle to court. Oh, and guess who denies more people for their medical needs? Nope, not Aetna; nope, not Humana; nope, not BC/BS..... MEDICARE! Wishing all of us MUCH HEALTH in the coming years so we never need serious gov't run healthcare coverage!
